Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you. John 15:16
The vine brings forth the branch where the vine wishes
Christ chose us first
If he had not chosen us, we would never had chosen him
We owe all we are to the grace of God
We are chosen to go and bring forth lasting fruit. Fruit that does not go away
We are chosen to have a powerful prayer life
This calls us to the deepest humility and praise, to total dependency and expectancy.
God would not choose us to do something that he will not accomplish through us. God does not want us to fail.
Dear Lord, thank you for choosing me. Help me to see you more and to abide in you better so I can produce much fruit that will last for eternity. I love you and I need you to be able to accomplish this task. Please use me for your glory and teach me how to be a better prayer warrior. Amen
